This step in Ohio EPA’s rulemaking process, required by Ohio Revised Code (ORC) 121.39, is called Interested Party Review. During this step, the Agency makes available draft rules for interested parties for review and comment. This step occurs after the Early Stakeholder Outreach comment period.
What changes are being considered?
Ohio EPA is considering the following revisions to these rules:
•Ohio EPA will match the federal standard for the xylene reporting limit of 0.5 μg/L and revising language in (A)(5)(f) to reflect the differences between the reporting limits in Table 3 of Appendix A and the detection limits defined in 3745-81-24(B)(14).
