On May 1, 2026, Ohio EPA issued a draft Class 3 Permit Modification to Envirosafe Services of Ohio, Inc., U.S. EPA Identification Number, OHD045243706, for its facility at 876 Otter Creek Road, Oregon, OH. The purpose of this permit is to construct and operate a new containment building and container storage building.
The modification allows Envirosafe Services to rearrange currently permitted container storage capacity to be within an enclosed container storage building. The modification also allows the facility to rearrange currently permitted tank storage capacity and merge it into a new single tank, T-1, which will be utilized for treatment within the containment building. The modification allows for the addition of 25% containment building storage capacity for the new containment building.
Drawings for the new buildings, areas, and tank are included in the permit modification. Minor administrative updates have also been made. To issue this draft permit modification, Ohio EPA has reviewed the application and has determined the proposal complies with Ohio EPA rules.
The public comment period begins on May 1, 2026, and ends on July 3, 2026. A public meeting is scheduled for June 23, 2026, at 6 p.m. at 5330 Seaman Rd, Oregon, OH 43616.
