What does Ohio Administrative Code (OAC) Chapter 3745-82 cover?
This chapter describes and establishes the secondary maximum contaminant level (SMCL) and how to remain in compliance.
What changes are being considered?
DDAGW has reviewed the Secondary Maximum Contaminant Levels (SMCL) rules in Chapter 3745-82 of the Ohio Administrative Code (OAC) to satisfy the five-year rule review requirements of section 106.03 of the Ohio Revised Code. Ohio EPA is considering these rules to be filed as no change.
Who will be regulated by these rules?
All public water systems.
What is the rulemaking schedule?
After the evaluation of early stakeholder feedback, OAC 3745-82 will be sent to interested party review. After consideration of interested party comments, Ohio EPA will start the rule filing process required by the Joint Committee on Agency Rule Review (JCARR).
